Publication with AICCE26
Submission Pathway
Important: All authors must submit their paper through the AICCE'26 conference system first — regardless of which publication route they intend to pursue. Do not submit directly to any journal. The AICCE'26 editorial team will assess your paper and notify you of the most suitable outlet after initial screening.
Author submits to AICCE'26
Prepare your full paper using the official AICCE'26 template and submit via the conference online portal. Attach the Copyright Declaration Form alongside your manuscript.
AICCE'26 editorial initial screening
The AICCE'26 editorial team reviews your submission for scope, completeness, language, originality, and minimum research quality. This is a suitability check — not a peer review.
Author notified & paper accepted for presentation
Authors are informed of their paper's acceptance for presentation at AICCE'26 and advised on the most suitable publication route. You will be directed to one of the following journals:
★ Smart Construction Special Issue
Scopus-indexed. Authors submit to the journal platform after receiving AICCE'26 notification.
★ Digital Transport & Safety
Scopus-indexed. Suitable for papers on intelligent transport, data systems, and road safety.
▶ Safe & Sustainable Urban Mobility
Open access, non-indexed. Published in Discover Cities via Springer Nature.
Journal peer review
Papers submitted to any of the three journals undergo that journal's independent peer review process. The final acceptance or rejection decision rests entirely with the respective journal's editorial board. AICCE'26 has no involvement at this stage.
If the journal rejects the paper — or if no journal is suitable
Authors retain the option to publish through an alternative route, as listed below.
Other non-indexed journal
Suitable for dissemination where Scopus indexing is not a requirement.
Conference proceedings
Paper is compiled and published in the official AICCE'26 conference proceedings.

Safe and Sustainable Urban Mobility: Infrastructure, Innovation, and Resilience
AICCE'26 is pleased to offer authors an additional publication route through the Springer Nature open access collection Safe and Sustainable Urban Mobility: Infrastructure, Innovation, and Resilience, published in Discover Cities. This collection is open access and currently non-indexed, and is suited for authors whose work addresses the intersection of transport safety, urban infrastructure, and sustainable mobility.
The collection welcomes original research, reviews, case studies, and policy analyses across themes including:
- Transport safety infrastructure — pedestrian pathways, traffic calming, safety signage, and secure parking systems
- Active and inclusive mobility — cycling infrastructure, accessible transport, and equitable transport planning
- Traffic management and control — intelligent transport systems, data-driven monitoring, and congestion mitigation
- Sustainable and resilient transport — low-carbon mobility, climate-adaptive road design, and weather resilience
- Smart city applications — AI, IoT, and digital twins for transport safety and predictive modelling
- Governance and policy — regulatory frameworks, safety standards, and community participation
Authors accepted for presentation at AICCE'26 whose papers align with the above themes may opt for this route after completing their AICCE'26 submission. Manuscripts are submitted directly through the Springer Nature portal and are subject to the journal's own editorial and peer review process.
